Systems Integrations is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Security Technician to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals eager to learn and develop a rewarding career in the cutting-edge field of security systems.

As an Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced Security Technicians, gaining hands-on experience in installing, servicing, and programming a wide range of Card Access Control and Video Surveillance systems. You’ll learn the ins and outs of the industry while contributing to real-world projects and providing exceptional service to our valued customers.

What You’ll Learn & Do:

• Assist in the installation of Access Control and Video surveillance systems: Learn to follow engineered drawings and ensure accurate installation.
• Develop programming skills: Gain proficiency in programming various Access Control products and platforms within our product line (Hanwha, Axis, Feenics, Alarm.com, DSC, Honeywell, ExacqVision, Rhombus, Qolsys, Mercury Hardware, Ubiquiti).
• Learn to terminate and commission systems: Understand the process of connecting and activating security systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues: Develop your problem-solving skills by identifying and addressing system malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate documentation: Learn to complete job tickets and other necessary paperwork.
• Ensure a safe working environment: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Participate in training: Attend product and safety training to enhance your knowledge and skills.
• Learn to read and understand engineered drawings.
• Gain knowledge of network protocols. TCPIP and DCHP.

• A desire to grow into a fully qualified Security Technician.
